Johnson played 54 games at the University of Alabama, and was a consensus All American in 2009, when he captained the Crimson Tide's National Championship team. Johnson is a five-year veteran of the NFL, all with the Atlanta Falcons, where he played offensive line and tight end from 2010-14.
